A dental emergency could take any of the following forms:
If you experience a dental emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. The easiest way is to call us on 01279 406100, but you can also send us a message and we will get back to you. We arrange your emergency appointment for a time that suits you, and always try to see you on the same day if availability allows.
To help while you wait for your appointment, we give you some personalised advice to follow. This may involve how to store a knocked-out or broken tooth, which painkillers to take for toothache, or how to manage an abscess before you can be seen.
When you arrive for your emergency appointment, we warmly welcome you and work quickly to understand the nature of the issue. If possible, our emergency dentists will treat the problem straightaway, but sometimes we need to use temporary measures to get you out of pain.
If you need further treatment, we book you a follow-up appointment. We give you some advice on how to look after your mouth in the meantime, and ask you to contact us as soon as possible if you need help.
