Starting your Invisalign treatment journey is simple! During your initial appointment, one of our certified Invisalign providers assess your needs and goals. We’ll check your teeth are healthy and suitable for treatment, and give you the chance to ask any questions.
Using innovative technology, we’ll take precise digital scans of your teeth to plan your personalised treatment. We’ll also use Invisalign’s ClinCheck software to show your exact tooth movements and a preview of your future smile! ClinCheck also creates a customised timeline and controls the force, direction and timing of each aligner’s movement.
Once your aligners are ready, you’ll begin wearing them – and will start seeing results in just a few weeks. You’ll wear each aligner in the series for 1-2 weeks before moving onto the next, gradually guiding your teeth into their new positions. We’ll see you for regular progress appointments to ensure your Invisalign treatment is on track for the best possible outcome.
When you have worn all your aligners, your straightening treatment is complete! We make sure you are delighted with your new smile and fit you with retainers to help maintain your results. Your retainers need to be worn part-time (often overnight) to keep your teeth in their new positions for the long term.
